Eckerd College
Located on 188 acres of waterfront property in St. Petersburg, Florida, Eckerd College is a private, coeducational college of liberal arts and sciences related by covenant to the Presbyterian Church (USA). Stetson University College of Law
Stetson University College of Law has educated outstanding lawyers, judges and community leaders for more than a century. Stetson Law is ranked among the nation’s top 100 law schools, and U.S. News ranks Stetson first for trial advocacy and sixth for legal writing. The law school’s main campus is in Gulfport, a beachfront community adjacent to St. Petersburg, and the Tampa Law Center satellite campus is located less than one mile from downtown Tampa.

St. Petersburg College
Florida’s oldest two-year college, evolved into a four-year college in 2002, making it the first such institution in what has become Florida’s state college system. With ten learning sites throughout Pinellas County, the college offers associate and bachelors degrees in a variety of fields including nursing, education and technology management. SPC's Downtown campus serves over 3,000 students per semester from application to graduation. The administrative offices of the Downtown Partnership, Pier Aquarium and Florida Orchestra reside in the building. It is also the new home of the American Stage Theatre.

The Poynter Institute is a school for journalists, future journalists, and teachers of journalism. Students come here in a search for excellence. Teachers provide focused instruction and personal support in that quest.

University of South Florida – College of Marine Science at the University of South Florida
A comprehensive graduate research program whose excellent faculty and outstanding graduate students, at both the MS and PhD levels, interact together to solve complex scientific problems in all oceanographic environments.

University of South Florida St. Petersburg
Offering academic programs for students at all levels. Freshmen can enroll in the Learning Community, a program for students who wish to attend their first two years of college in a close-knit group of scholars.
